Engine: Modified - cam, heads, valves, crank etc. Twin 45mm Delorto's, standard 4 speed gearbox.

Built by: Alison Svoronos and Mike Martinez

Other mods: Modified exhaust, adjustable front struts (lowered), cross drilled disc brakes.

Wheels: 16 inch Advanti chrome mags

Exterior: Arctic White, chopped top (about 4 inches).

Interior: Professionally trimmed car interior, Pioneer CD unit, VDO gauges.

Background: Acquired in May 1992. Walking down Parramatta Road after nightclubs around 2.00am and saw it in the car yard. Went back the next day to test drive and brought it as a 1600cc to find out later it was actually a bit bigger.

Prior History: Unknown

Best memories: The first car show after the rebuild. Taking it to Nambucca with best friend Janet. Getting into a VW magazine (Volkswagen Australia). Winning its first trophy. Getting picked for the Supercruise at Summer Nats in 2001. Best Summer Nats ever!!! Ended the night watching the fireworks from the middle of a park and feeling the heat as they went off.

Racing: It's been raced at the drags. Best ET 1/8 (10.4), best reaction time 0.07 (Phil).

Shows: Little Hoodlum has been displayed and one a number of trophies :) These include best custom, best modified '68 on. Also has been featured in Volkswagen Australia magazine.

Future plans: New wheels and a partial re-build.

Dream Car: VWHOOD (What Else!)

Projects: No, taking a break after Pinky (recently finished project, Type III wagon)
