If you're not going to go away for the long weekend, you may as well do something worthwhile. What better alternative than a Club cruise with a mystery destination.

Club members met in the morning at Narellan McDonalds speculating where we might be going. Club stalwart Steve Rae had organised the cruise and had already done an early morning recon to drop off the Club trailer at the destination.

After a hearty (cough cough) breakfast at McDonalds, we headed off in procession following Steve and Barbara in their silver Caravelle, Bess.

We went on a leisurely cruise which took as through Picton and the surrounding areas before looping back towards where we started. Was this Steve trying to fool us on the destination or had he finally lost the plot?

Our arrival at the barbeque point was made shortly thereafter at the end of an airstrip at Camden where gliders depart. It was a great area to park the Dubs, kick back, chew the fat (and the sausages) and enjoy the wrens, bellbbirds and gliders.

A leisurely day was enjoyed by all. Thanks Steve!!
