Built
by: Klaack Motors
Other
mods: Monza 4 pipe exhaust, air horns, lots of shiny
bits, runs on Jim Beam!

Exterior:
Ford Phantom Purple, engine bay and under car neons, spotlights,
alloy running boards, cats eye indicators.

350mm leather SAAS sports steering wheel, Alpine CD 2 x 200W
head unit, 2 x 60W speakers, VDO tacho, oil pressue, engine

Background:
Acquired in November 2003. Spur of the moment decision, found
on the Internet. Probably paid way too much for a cute little
Bug that was at least 15 shades of red!
Prior History: Unknown, big gamble. Chequered
and suspicious!
Best
memory: Collecting the car from Klaack Motors on my
40th birthday (after three months restoration)!
Horror
story: Stalling at least 15 times on the M5 Motorway
in peak hour! Also when the engine dropped its guts on David's
driveway...
Shows:
On display at Camden Car Show and the German Autofest in Canberra
2005
Future
plans: Finish off the interior (when I win Lotto) and
then spending years and years enjoying it!
Dream
Car: This one of course!
Projects:
Only finishing the one I've got. Never again!
