Background: Acquired in 1999. After travelling to Nambucca with four passengers in a 56 Oval, I decided we needed more room!

Prior History: Previously owned by two builders

Best memories: Travelling to Nambucca and receiving “Best Water Cooled” trophy. Being featured in the first edition of VW Magazine Australia (February 2004).

Horror story: Just after finishing the interior it was broken into and cleaned out.

Shows: Won trophies at Valla (Nambucca), Flat Four Shootout, Club VW Illawarra show at Bulli, VW Nationals, Blast From the Past VW Show at Berry.

Future plans: Maybe air ride suspension
