The All VW Shootout is our Club's annual show and this year it was held on Sunday 6th November at the Michael Wendon Recreation and Aquatic Centre in the Sydney subrub of Miller.

This is the first year we have held the show at Michael Wendon and we have received some positive feedback on the venue which bodes well for next year. The venue allows us to have the VWs on display in an indoor environment along with stands for dealers and sponsors. There is also a large, outdoor grass section, for the use of swap meet stalls and generally relaxing. On-site swimming pool facilities were also available which came in very handy for parents and children alike.

There were 52 VWs officially entered for judging and there were also some other vehicles on display but not entered. Quite a number of nice looking Dubs were in the swap meet areas and outside car park. The quality of VWs displayed was great and we hope they provided encouragement for more potential entrants next year.

Thanks must go out to all our Sponsors for supporting the Club (especially our major sponsor, Westside Mufflers) and also the dealers and traders for contributing to the event with their stands. Thanks also to all entrants, swappers and members of the public who came to see our show. And of course to the Flat Four members!
